4/3/14 Drop Review

Drop Review of 4/3/2014
This week the Supreme x Nike Collab came out, along with some other pieces.

There were three pieces of this collaboration, which all had a "versace" print. The first piece was the Nike Air Foamposite 1 in a black and a red color way. These shoes were extremely hyped and sold out within 30 seconds in all sizes and colors. ($250)

Next from the collaboration was the Nike x Supreme Jersey in the same colorways. These also sold out extremely fast(1-2 minutes). ($110)

The last piece from this collaboration was the Nike x Supreme Basketball Shorts. These also sold out extremely fast. These had the usual rib waist band which is extremely soft and gives it the high price tag. ($110)

This week Supreme dropped 4 tops.
The first was the Printed Block Stripe Pocket Tee which was priced at $68. This is still sitting on the website. The next was the Lightweight Flannel Gingham which was priced at $110. This also is sitting except for the red colorway which is sold out. The third top was the Quilted Panel Crewneck which was $118. This sold out within an hour due to the quality and simplicity of the crewneck. The last top was the Small Box Logo Tee which was priced at 48. It also sold out for the same reasons as the crewneck. Simplicity and Quality are taking over this season at Supreme.

Supreme also released three hats this week. The first was the Nepal 5-Panel which was priced at $40. When I first saw this in the preview I really liked it but the more I saw it the more I disliked it. It's sitting right now on the webstore. The next hat was the Perf Leather Camp which was $72. The two reasons this hat didn't sell very much was because of the high price tag and the fact that it is made of leather. I don't think many people want to wear a leather hat during Spring/Summer. Supreme should've just saved this for Fall/Winter. The last hat, and in my opinion, the best hat this week was the Grid Camo Boonie which was $44. I already have the Grid Camo Camp Cap and the Gulf-War inspired print is very nice. I didn't get this hat because I already have a hat with the same print. However, if I didn't have the camp cap I would've easily gotten it.

Supreme also released one pair of pants this week, the Work Shorts at $110. These pants were released in 10 colorways. The standouts from these pants are the Blackwindowpane colorway and the Camo colorway. These pants are perfect for Summer.

Overall, this week was a pretty good week for a Supreme drop. The Nike collaboration along with the Small Box Logo Tee, the Quilted Crewneck, and the Grid Camo Boonie gives this week an 8/10. Please comment with your thoughts!
