4/17/14 Drop Review

Alright guys I'm back again with another Supreme Drop review for April 17th, 2014.

This week featured the highly anticipated Supreme/The North Face Collaboration which featured a Coach Jacket and a Backpack.

The first piece from this collaboration was the Expedition Coaches jacket which was inspired by the Original Antarctica Jacket which was made for an expedition to the South Pole. The expedition featured people from China, USA, UK, Japan, France, and Soviet Russia. These represent the flags on both the jacket and the backpack. The six flags emblem is made up of 3M material which we have already seen used on a North Face collab. This Jacket retailed for $338 and was available in 4 colorways. The colorways were Black, Teal, Yellow, and an all-over "Globe" print. These all sold out extremely fast as expected and you are pretty lucky if you got your hands on it, especially the Globe Print.

The next piece from this collaboration was the "Day Pack." This was available in the exact same print and the exact same colorways. This also sold out pretty fast, but not as fast as the jackets did. The day packs sold for $148.

Now onto the regular pieces this week.
This week we had three shirts from Supreme.
The first one was the Striped Work Shirt which retailed at $128. This shirt is inspired by old, Classic Auto Repair Shops. It was featured in 3 colorways shown below.

The next shirt was the Safari Shirt which was priced at $118. This shirt features 2 zipper pockets and 2 button pockets right under it. It was featured in 5 colorways shown under.

The last shirt was the Paisley Shirt. This was priced at $110 and was in 3 colorways. It features a single paisley print all over the shirt.

All these shirt are still available on the web store due to everybody spending their money on the North Face Collab and Supreme shirts are never big sellers.

Next we have the Paisley Polo which sold out due to a crazy print which was $88. These feature a much crazier design on them then the paisley shirt. They are in 4 colorways including purple and yellow. Supreme is starting to do a lot of yellow items and I'm personally not a big fan of yellow, but The Coach Jacket in Yellow still sold out extremely fast so some people may like yellow.

The next piece was the Marathon Crewneck which was priced at $118. I personally don't like crewnecks in general and the font on this piece looks like those Fake Crewnecks you see on Chinese websites for $10. However, this sold out really quickly and some people are calling it the "Box Logo of the Spring/Summer."

These week Supreme released 3 hats.
The first hat was the Side Zip Camp Cap which was $44 and sold out very fast due to the simple design. In case you're wondering, there is no pocket... It's just a zip that leads to your head (Rumor from Japan but I'm not 100% sure.)

The next hat was the Crown 5-Panel. This was featured in 4 colorways and features the Crown from Crown Royal. This was priced at $44 and is still on the website due to bad colorways and an overshadow by the side zip.

The last hat was the Fitted Lightweight Cord 6-panel. This is still on the website at $40. This hat is still sitting due to the fact that it's a fitted hat and corduroy is to warm for the summer even if it is lightweight.

This week we also had restocks on two hyped accessories from earlier in the season.
The first was the Nalgene Bottle which was priced at $20 and the second was the Bullet Knife which was $18. The Nalgene still hasn't sold out and the Bullet Knife is sold out.

Overall I give this week a 6/10. The restocks and the Globe Print on the North Face were the only things that saved this week from being pretty bad.

4/10/14 Drop Review

Hey guys back with another drop today for April 10th, 2014. I will also be including sizing as recommended by cheersdom on reddit.

This week the main thing was a full capsule collaboration with the Punk Band, Dead Kennedys.

First piece was the Work Jacket priced at $188 with the "Money Cross" design on the back. This sold out immediately because of the cheap price for being a Supreme Jacket and it also being the only "work jacket" so far this season. It was available in a Navy, Black, and Gray colorway.

The next piece from the Dead Kennedys Collaboration was the pullover. Just like the Work Jacket, it cost lest than expected at $138 and had the child in front of the grave picture on the back so it sold out pretty quickly. This was available in a gray, red, and black colorway.

The next piece was the Dead Kennedys Sweatshorts in the comfortable cotton terry fleece. These were priced at $118. The shorts had the three money crosses on the front and the God we Trust Inc in the back. These are currently sold out because Supreme doesn't make big stocks of sweatshorts and there haven't been any sweatshorts for sale this season yet. These were in a white and black colorway.

The next pieces from the collaboration were the 4 T-shirts. There were three short sleeves and one long sleeve. The short sleeved T-shirts sold for $38 and the long sleeve sold for $44. The first T-shirt was the Plastic Surgery Disasters Tee. This hasn't been selling due to the fact that the design is a bit too graphic. The next tee was the Gravestone tee. This sold out in most colors because it's a classic Dead Kennedys design and it's not extremely loud. The last short sleeve was the Too Drunk to Fuck tee. This also hasn't sold much because it has cuss words on the back and most of these people getting things today are kids using their parents credit card and the parents won't allow them to buy a shirt with cuss words. The long sleeve T-Shirt was the In God We Trust tee with the small money cross on the front and a KKK inspired back. This tee also sold out in most colors because of the reference to the song "Nazi Punks Fuck Off", which is written on the back. This was the piece that summed up the collaboration the best in my opinion. All the tees came in at least 6 colorways with some classic colors like white and black and some other tee in a yellow colorway which is unique.

The Last piece from the Dead Kennedys Collaboration was the $2 pin that Supreme usually puts in with collaborations. It has the Too Drunk To Fuck print on it.
Alright we are officially done with the collab and now we are moving onto the regular pieces Supreme sold this week.

The First piece this week is the Tactical Vest. It was inspired by military bulletproof vests and it sold for $138. This piece sold out because vests are very useful for Spring/Summer and they are very simple designs which are always surefire sellers on Supreme. It came out in a Camo, Black, and Tan colorway

Next item this week was the Nylon Hooded Pullover. This pullover features a black and white faded print on the hood and down the sides of the hoodie. This managed to sell out at $148 because Nylon is a very light material and it is perfect for the Spring days where it is not too cold but not too hot. It came in a black, Turquoise, and Orange Colorway. Turquoise and Orange are very out of the box colors but they work particularly well with the faded print.

The next piece was the Denim Flannel BaseBall Shirt  which cost $128. This is a very unique piece combining Denim and a Flannel. As we all know, Jerseys are the new big thing this season that are selling out. This was definitely the slowest a Jersey/Henley has sold out this season besides the CDG/Harold Hunter Jersey which didn't sell for pricing issues. However, this did sell out in a Blue Denim/Red Flannel, Red Denim/Blue Flannel, and a Black Denim/Black Flannel colorway.

Next on the drop list are the two shirts which weren't part of the collaboration which were released this week. They are both short sleeved and both sold out in most colors at $32. The first shirt is the Nefertiti Tee which features Nefertiti from Egypt on the shirt. The second shirt, and in my opinion, the best t-shirt this season was the Kinetic Tee. It has Supreme written on the very bottom on the front and an extreme print on the back. Both the shirts were released in a variety of colors.

The last piece this week was the Mizuno Youth Baseball bat. This bat is still selling on the website for $58 because nobody necessarily needs a bat and if they did, they would need a full sized one and not a youth bat.

Supreme also had a huge restock this week on their Solid Beanie in all colors. They also included a new "Light Blue" colorway. These are still on the website but they will slowly sell out like all they already have done this season. These cost $32.

Overall this week had a ton of items, which mostly sold out. I'm not going to act like I've ever been a fan of Dead Kennedys, but some of the collection was definitely very nice and I can see why people would get them. Overall this week gets a 7/10.
